Dan it may be time for....

..a message board change.

Ultimate Bulletin Board is great, but all of the other big sites have changed from CGI to php. Php is MUCH faster!

The MustangWorks board is full of very smart stang drivers, but it is too slow. I am on a cable connect and I find that I have to wait just about every time. Some times I give up and go to another site.

I know that this is allot of work, but I think it may be time, the board it just getting too slow.

Just my opinion http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif

Yes, you are telling me something I am fully aware of. VBulletin is much nicer, and I've already considered changing. However, the site is not slow on the MustangWorks servers end and the UBB system is still running ok for the most part. I have a 768K SDSL connection and the site usually flies for me with no problems. If you are experiencing hang ups it is usually due to other issues on the Web in general or one of our ad delivery companies servers is slow. Which, I've noticed happened several times over the past couple months. Unfortunately, the site layout will not generally render until the side banner has been delivered.
