dan, what the heck?????????

its getting rather aggrivating where the ads take precedence over the page loading, i find myself sitting here watching 3 sets of ads load before the page, is there anything that can be done about this, or is the site being taken over? i have a better idea, howbout you make the site a pay site and get rid of the ads altogether, not too expensive, but with over 6000 members, i think a few dollars a year from each of us would cover expenses, am i wrong? sorry about my rambling, im not trying to be a dick.

Personally I would pay a lot of money to have access to this site. But we would loose a lot of members and potential members if Dan were to charge access fees. There are numerous other sites out there that are free and do not have Ads. However the site admins of those Mustang sites must be rich to afford a high-bandwidth web sever.

I think Dan is doing a great job with this site, and in order to keep it up, he has to have sponsors. Personally the ads don't bother me, but I'm on a T3 at work.

Peak traffic period load will be relieved into next year as I am working on the addition of a second, dedicated server just to run the message board. Not only will that alleviate the main server, but greatly increase the boards performance, as well. Relief is in the planning. Bandwidth isn't much of an issue, as we are hosted on a one gigabit network with three T3's!
