Email notification?

Not sure if its not working for anyone else, but its not for me. I haven't received an email telling me theres a new reply in any of the threads I have subscribed to in some time. I dont think its a browser problem, cause they work in other message boards I visit, so whats the problem?

and yes I have the notification enabled in user options.

Well I am testing it now. Did you subscribe to received notifications to this thread... and, did you just get one from my reply? If there is something wrong I am not aware of it, so we'll have to see.

I had the box selected to receive email notification and I didn't receive one from your reply.

I'm assuming alot of others are like me and rely on the emails to check the boards alot of the time. But then again, you know, when you assume things, you make an *** out of u and me :D

Interesting... I got one from your reply...

Is anyone else having this problem?

fiveohpatrol 01-13-2003 09:46 PM

Ok, I just got one from this reply, and the other email you sent me.
Did you change anything?

StangFlyer 01-13-2003 11:35 PM

I didn't change any server or program settings, I did reboot the mail server though.

I don't subscribe to any threads, however, it has been at least a week or two since the last time I received an email telling me I had a private message, and I've had 8 or 10 in that time.

Take care,
~Chris

seems to be workin fine now...

thanks Dan, you da man!

StangFlyer 01-14-2003 12:09 AM

Well, seems to be kicking now. Something must have been hung up on the mailserver box or something. The reboot must have done the trick.
