Default MW web space uploading problems

I've been trying to upload .rm files (videos) and every time I try it won't let me. Some crap about "invalid file type" which doesn't make a lick of sense to me b/c I have many times b4 uploaded at least 4 other .rm files. They are in my main directory now. So how is it I cannot upload my .rm file???

I've checked the size----not too big. I don't know what else to do. Can someone please help me out?

I even deleted one of the .rm files I had in the directory (which worked fine), and tried to reupload it and it said "File not uploaded. Invalid file type", the same one I just deleted......Now how does that make sense.

Please help. Thanks.

OK, I forgot that I had turned OFF video file types because people had been abusing their accounts by using them just to store and serve video clips, versus actually creating a Web site on them. Therefore, I now give the ability to upload video files on a case-by-case basis.

I've set your account to except video file types. It should now work for you.

Thumbs up

Oh yeah, I remember that topic in the Blue Oval Lounge forum about people using the web space in such an improper manner. Well, that sounds like a good thing that you are doing-- case by case basis for video files.

Oh, forgive me for my rather explosive posts, I need to relax a little more..

Thanks
