Multiple PAGES (DAN?)

I just realized I posted this in the wrong forum, Sorry.... But why cant you make it so when it goes over 45 posts or whatever it is, it doesnt make the thread into 2 pages. It seems it would just be a lot easier to read if it kept it all on one page. and I doesnt take that long to load. I think everyone else would agree with me....

Thanks,
Skyler

I have the ability to set the board to split into multiple pages on a thread at any set number of posts. What does everyone else think on this subject?

I agree with Sky and think if you keep more on one page it would be better.

I think it would make it less of a nuisance if it were all one page. No waiting for the next page to come up would make it easier to read and less likely to interrupt the flow of the story etc.

I like having it split on multiple pages. it makes the posts easier to find. Loading 1 HUGE page takes too long. Why wait when you can bring up a page in half the time?

Dan, if you could put links to the other page(s) on the forum directory (or past listings) then it would be easier to jump to and not have to load both pages.

A little late to this thread but I've noticed that when a forum goes to two (or three) pages, the later pages (2,3) seem to be pretty much abandoned and I see few replies.

On that basis, I would guess that one long page would be a little more useful to our members.
