![]() Since I started visiting this site I've noticed that several people don't (or won't) use the search engine to find the topic they're looking for. Perhaps it's just me but this is very annoying. To see the same question over and over, asked by a different person each time is ludicrious.
I've seen suggestions of taking the most frequently asked questions and writing a tech article about them, however I don't beleive it would work. I'd assume this would only change the questions asked. My suggestion is to have the search option displayed where it is easier to see. Perhaps it's own button sitting next to "Post new topic" would help curve this annoying trend. Don't know that this would work, but it's an idea. What do you think? Anyone else have a suggestion? p.s.- did the search engine go down again? I'm on a different computer now, but thought that your search module might never have been fixed. |
