Post New Users Rides Glitch?

Has anyone else noticed that when you go to the users rides section that it loads the page, then refreshes the page shortly after? Sometimes it will load the first time then start to load the second time and lock up. But maybe that is just my crappy connection.

Well, if you go to a user's rides listing through a "link" which brings it up directly (not in the sites framing), it will force the browser to load the entire site around it. I can only assume this is was you are referring to? Regardless, it works fine as far as I can tell.

The links on to my listings in my signature is the way it should be done anyways.

Ok, that's what was wrong. Maybe you should post a topic about that in the lounge because I have noticed it doing that when I click links in posts by other people that have it setup the same way as I do (or did). I'll fix it in my sig. Thanks Dan.

Well, it is better to use the ViewIt.cgi program method (the cgi loads the frameset with the called URL in the middle directly), but even if you call just the listing directly it should work fine when it reloads itself into the complete site layout. I've tested it in both IE and Netscape myself without any problems.

Anyone who submits a User's Rides listing also receives instructions on how to link to the listing correctly using the ViewIt.cgi method via E-Mail, as well.

Heh, I receive about 30 emails a day and it's hard for me to keep track of stuff like that if I'm not expecting the mail to come. I'll have to find it and read it I guess to see what you mean because I'm kinda lost here =) Do I still not have it right?
