how to use this site
 

I can't figure out this to save my life. I want to put my picture on the side under my name. I know how to do it, but. I finally figured out how to condense the pic down to 140 x 140 and now it tells me that it don't reconise the file, I don't want to send the pics to any one to do it. I want to learn myself, so I can change it occasionally. Can I be helped?

When you resize it, you will be asked if you want to save it. Select Save As, and then select JPEG (or JPG). Make sure the name of your resized avatar file ends in either .jpeg or .jpg. It should now upload just fine.

Joe I'll try again. At the time it said that it was still too big. I think I am going to get with spankavile he is close enough and if he wants to LEARN me that would be my best bet.

What program should I use to reduce the pic size? Imaging Sucks

The picture that Joe posted as an attachment in his last post is formatted and sized properly. It should work with no problems at all.

if you want it to show up without that stupid open or save dialogue box coming up, when you save it, under file type, choose "jpeg (.jpg)" instead of "bitmap (.bmp)"

if you want, i can hook you up with a copy of photoshop, you can use that to resize the images and it has a billion other cool features but all i use it for is resizing, lol
