"Full Sail" pop-up ad

Recently a new advertisement was added to the top frame promoting a game called "Full Sail". It seems everytime that ad loads I get a pop-up for it too. :mad: I remember a similar issue happening a while back that you took care of, just wanted to bring this one to your attention if you had not already seen it.

On a lighter note, I love the new classifieds!

Yes, I am aware of the ad. I have allowed one of the advertising companies MW uses to do "pop-under" ads because their system will only serve each user ONE pop-under per day. That's much more acceptable than some of the other places that not only do "pop-overs", but deliver them non-stop to every user. Forget that.

Any ways, I figured since it's limited to one pop-under ad per day it wouldn't be a major nusances to users and cause everyone to run for the hills... :rolleyes:

Also, yeah... I think the classifieds will work out well this way. By making it built into the forums it gives the classifieds all the features of the forums (attachments/in-line photos, etc) and I think will generate more overall activity/exposure...

Thanks for the info. I hadn't noticed that it was only once per day, maybe I shouldn't be on so many computers. :p

Advertisements = a necessary evil.

Keep up the good work Dan.

FYI: Yeah, if you use multiple browsers or browsers on different computers you may see it once on each one... That's because it knows if you've been hit with a pop-under by a cookie their ad system sets on your browser I'm sure.
