Post Scanning pictures into thread posts?

Dan, how do I scan a picture and get it into one of my posts or start a new thread? I have the scanning equipment but am not very computer literate. Please help!

I think you need a web site of your own and you just reference the picture from the post rather than scanning it in directly.

Do you want to put a picture in a message board post or post pictures in the User's Rides? Big difference... In the User's Rides you actually upload your pictures onto our server. With a message board post that shows a picture "inline", it must be referred to on another web server (i.e. your, or someone else's, site).

No I was hoping to scan one inline in a thread, but I don't have a website so I guess I can't do that. I've got my pictures in users ride section. Thanx for the help!

If it's a picture of your car you want, you could reference it from this web site. The URL would be
http://www.mustangworks.com/mustangs...g828-slot1.jpg

Doesn't your ISP give you a free web site? If not, you can probably get a free web site somewhere. I can't think of any places off hand, though.
