Java on main page

I thought I would just mention the the java on the main page is really slowing my system down, takes forever to load the page. Also I noticed that I cannot load any other pages via just typing in the address any more, I was doing that to avoid the main page to get to the message boards.

On either one of my personnal systems, the Java is just fine. One is a PII300 with 64 MB Ram and the other is an old P75 I upgraded with a 200MHZ Cyrix MMX chip with 48 MB Ram (not nearly as good as a real Intel P200). What kind of system do you have? Regardless, if it can't even handle that dinky little applet, no offense - but, you're way over due to upgrade.
