Talking Just me, or did something change?

Thought I'd do a preemptive post and say, "yes", I changed the framing of the site and removed "Horsepower Bob", as well as the strip on the right side of the site. This has opened up the content window and made more room for the content. This will be most noticeable in the message board.

In addition, this also removed the counter from the site. More or less, I think its become somewhat pointless to have it there anyway. We get enough traffic that it just never stops scrolling anyway!! ahahahaha. Also, by removing it there is no longer a Java applet running all the time to slow down your browser or the loading of the site.

Does anyone notice a difference in load time or how the site performs now?

Doesn't look bad either. Anyone think it looks better this way? Regardless, as previous discussed, we have a whole new site coming your way. It should be launched sometime in January.

Yep, it loads faster. I would probably be one to notice the difference the most since I only connect at 26400 max. I kinda liked that little guy, but can live without him I guess. I can't wait to see the new site!

Ok, I'll be the "bad" guy and say that I didn't notice a difference until I read the post. But now that I have noticed, It is way better. I don't notice any load time difference though, I'm on a high speed Lan Network.

Way to go Dan! Roll out the new look.
