Default What the??

How come when I went to look at the message boards today, It showed me registered as "Hannar" instead of LX5liter? I had to switch to Netscape to look at the boards under my own username, which is a pain because Netscape seems to be quite a bit slower than I.E. Has this happened a lot. I guess I'll go clean out the cookies and see if that fixes things

Well I tried deleting the cookies and files and it didn't help. Any suggestions.

Go to the bottom of the forums page and click the log out link. Then, log back in with your account and all will be fine.

I am not sure whether this is a "bug" in the version of vB we are running or an issue with the session management and load balancing on our Web farm. It is set up in a manner where the session management should work properly with that environment though. It only seems to happen on a rare occasion, and I've never been able to make it happen myself, so it's been very difficult to troubleshoot. I know that's probably gibberish to most of you, but... what it amounts to is that I am keeping an eye out for the cause... LOL We plan to upgrade the forums soon hopefully, and that might solve the issue in itself.
