Post Links - Visited links

Is there a reason why the links and visited links are the same color? I was just thinking how much easier it would be to remember topics (and users rides) you have viewed if they were different.

They are set to red for aesthetic purposes. It simply looks better that way. Also, if you are using IE, there is CSS code on the site that creates text roll overs too.
