Suggestions for the Message forums and MORE!
 

1. Email notification - It would be cool if you could get an email notification for any and all topics. Even ones you didn't create. It would make it easier to keep track of topics you have replied to.

2. Users Rides link in messages - A button next to the edit, quote, email, etc at the top of a post that will take you to their ride info page. I had suggested this before but I figured I'd mention it again.

3. Automatically have EMAIL NOTIFICATION and SHOW SIGNATURE checked when creating a new topic. I forget this a lot and their is no way for the person making the post to go back in and fix this without suggestion #1 http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif

4. Have a submit section for people to submit their rides for the Featured Rides section. Of course, this would probably cause a lot more work so it's probably not doable.

5. Also, the chat server is down again and I need to talk to my buddies http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/frown.gif

Right now I'm not going to do anything with the message board. We are about to change everything over to a new server, and when we do the site will also be using totally different message board software.

The chat server is now back online, and operating locally on our Web server.

When you have a ride listing on the User's Rides system, you are also in essence "submitted" to be considered for being a featured ride.
