Question 00 Cobra Suspension

I am planning installing new springs, struts, and shocks. ( If I ever get the car )
Would like to lower 1-2 inches (properly) and of course improve handeling.

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Assuming that you can use the same springs as a 99, (you might want to verify that though) I think Ford Motorsport and Eibach have springs that will fit the bill. They should lower the vehicle about 1 inch.
The kits usually hover around 250 dollars retail...

98 GT
Dyno-Max cat-back exhaust, 3.73 gears, Steeda shifter, Ford Motorsport Underdrive pullies, 87mm MAF and Roush cold air kit...

As far as i know, the only differences between a 99 and a 2000 Cobra are:

child seat anchors on the back, top of the seats
different pully tensioner (for 00 gts, but it might be the same one 99 Cobras get for the fix, not quite sure)
the rear valence says Cobra
and the "SVT" badge with "Cobra" underneath it on the back now says just "SVT"
also there is an 'inside the trunk' hatch release...

so the everything that will work on a 99 Cobra should work on a 2000, except maybe blowers (belt tensioner), but like i stated the belt tensioner change may have only applied to GTs, and may not apply to 99 Cobras with the fix....

if youre wondering where i got this info, it was from SVT when they sent me my certificate of authenticity... btw, my 99 is #962!

Steve

PS: dont forget, not only are the springs for a Cobra different, so are the rear shocks!
