Yes, it is the T-5 tranny in the basic GT. The tremec, as I believe, is used in the Saleen, Steeda, and Cobra's, Usually a 6 speed. However the for Saleen it's just an option, not standard. For the rear end gears, go with 3.73's. Like mlambrecht said, 3.55 aint worth it, and 4.10's are too much for a daily/highway driver. The Tri ax shifter is a must if your gonna run it. Shorter throws and sprig loaded to third gear (the most commonly missed gear when racing). Enjoy!
