03/04 cobra motor out of 99/01
 

Hey guys I'm looking into putting a 03/04 cobra motor in my 00 Gt. To get a good motor you have to spend a fortune. Thats why I was wondering how difficult it would be to slap the upper and lower intake with supercharger on the 99/01 motor. Or if this is even possible. If not should I just build a 2v 4.6 for my car and be happy running twelves. Which ever you guys think is easiest and less expensive.

Why not just get a supercharger for you 2V and beat the piss out of most 03-04 Cobras? I sell a full line of ProChargers and could get you exactly where you want to be for less money than getting the blower off an 03-04. Otherwise, build the 2V and throw on a shot of gas. Easy and cost effective.

The 2003-2004 Cobra's do make a lot of power, but I agree with bigwhitecobra. Why do so much extra work to try and make your car something that it's not? There are quite a few supercharger kits out there for the 2v GT, and your GT will respond very favorably to a few bolt ons and a supercharger.

Not to mention the nice 300-500lb weight advantage your car has over the portly Cobra.

Exactly!! Just get a shot of gas and be done with it.
