17x9.5 up front? Will they fit? Please help!!!

I ordered 17x9.5 all around with 30mm ofset. I am thinking of putting 255/40 up front and 275/40 rear. Will the tires up front rub? Or should I go with smaller tires?

Thanks

i, have a2000 gt with the stock 17 x 8 or 9 in they don't rub , but i am running 245x 45 tire's you maye want yo consider that size on front , but i dont tink one size up will matter ck a 99 or up front wheel well & decide good luck!

They shouldn't rub. I run 275s on a 9 inch rim all around with out trouble. If anything rubs it will be the sidewall of the tire. BTW, why 255s on the front? With the not so great nature of the Mustang front suspension if you are going for handling then you need all the tire up front you can get. Not to mention being able to rotate. do you have CC plates? If so run -1.5 to -2 degrees of camber.

I dont want the tire up front to be too big. I think 255/40 is a good size for the front. I have 245/45 now on my 16" wheel, and I think 255/40 on a 17 will do fine.

I just got some American Racing Torque Thrust II's in 17x9.5 and 17x11. I have 255/40's on the front. If your car is stock height and the offset is right, there is no problem. If your ride is lowered you may need a 1/4" wheel spacer to keep from rubbing the sway bar.

I was wondering what the offset of the front wheels are? how much did you pay for them?
Thanks
