1996 Gt Auto To Auto Swap Now It Won't Run In Gear.
I'VE GOT ONE OF MY MARINES WHO BURNT UP THE STOCK TRANNY IN HIS 1996 GT. HE SOURCED ANOTHER AUTO OUT OF A 1996 CROWN VIC OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. HE HAD TO USE HIS TORQUE CONVERTER OTHERWISE EVERYTHING ELSE PLUGGED RIGHT UP.
NOW HE STARTS IT AND IT WILL RUN IN PARK BUT ONCE SHIFFTED TO ANY OTHER GEAR IT WILL DIE. I HAVEN'T SEEN IT JUST TALKED TO HIM ON THE PHONE SO I CAN'T DESCRIBE EXACTLLY WHAT IT'S DOING. JUST TRYING TO HELP HIM OUT AS HE HAS TO THE SHIP THE CAR BACK HOME FROM HAWAII IN ABOUT TWO WEEKS, ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREAT. ADAM |

Post this question in the forums over at www.mtcforum.com. There are a lot of 4R70W experts over there that can help.
