1996 MUSTANG GT cylinder head's

i have a 1996 mustang GT.. wondering what would be a good head swap. i have heard that 99 GT heads really wake up the 96 motor. i have a 1996 4.6L truck motor. would these heads be a better design than the older 96.also the injectors in the 99 truck motor would they be bigger than stock 96 injectors. i realize i would need a comp chip. thanxs for the help:cool:

I would go with the 99-04 heads. Big improvement. Unless you want to Port and polsih the heads you have now. I would think the truck heads would be about the same as the mustang heads for that year. Not sure though.

No gains with the truck heads. You can buy the head swap kits with everything you need for under 1K now. Beats trying to piece everthing together. You can also do the PI intake and cam swap for under 350.00 and gain 30+ rwhp. Or better yet, pay 1,200 to 1`,500 for a good used PI motor and be better off.

Your choice
