|  1997 GT not wanting to run Hello all.......I will go ahead and let you know that it is a friend's car and I hope I can get some help for him. This is the deal: The motor turns over and runs for a split second then dies. I told him to change Fuel filter and he did (checked to see if fuel pump was running also and it was). Still doing the same thing  . It is getting spark so I am at a loss here (due to being a GM guy..  ). I think he might have some water in his tank from bad fuel.What are your suggestions??? IAC, TPS, MAF ????? Thanks Just in case you guys are wondering...I know you are Sig below

|  possibly an ignition safety problem i did the same thing and i tottally spaced it off i was using spare key without the right chip in the key it would turn over run to idle then die. so hopefully he id doing the same mistake i did if not >??????
