Default cobra rear end

I have a 95 mustang LX and put a 5.0 engine in last summer. A guy is offering to sell me his cobra rear end our of a 2000 mustang. He is throwing in the spring front/back, contol arms, complete braking system, and rack & pinion. All for $250 and everything is brand new...it's just been sitting at his house for the past 2 years. I was wondering if the 2000 cobra rear end and everything will bolt up to my 95 LX alright. Also, will the brakes fit my 15" rims or will I have to upgrade to 16-17." Thanks a lot guys.

There wasnt a 00' cobra so it must be an 01'....The IRS rear end out of the cobra is supposed to just bolt in. The only cobra made in 00' was the cobra R

BTW: $250.00 is a killer deal.

I know, I'm still in shock that I got it so cheap. Does anyone know if my 15" rims will be big enough to fit the brakes or will i have to upgrade?

To put 13in cobra brakes up front you need at least 17 inch rims.

as far as the rear It is I think .64 inches bigger so you may not need the bigger rims. Have fun putting it in. I just put a rearend into the back of my 94 stang. Long hard but fun to do.
