1999-2003 Custom Cobra R SVO Hood how much should I ask?
I'm selling a Custom Cut Cobra R SVO hood for 1999-2003 Mustangs. I was about to put it on mustangworks classified but I don't know what a fair price to ask for it is. I paid over $450 for the hood alone, and then I spent over $500 to get it painted. It's a Doubled wall hood and is show quialty underneith as well. I have a little bit over $1,000.00 in this hood not even 2 months ago. It's painted to match White Mustangs. It has 2 coats of Bulldog, 3 coats of Dupont Paint and 5 coats of Clear. The scoop was cut out to give it the Ram Air Apperance. I'm doing the Saleen Conversion now and I need money for the body kit. That's why I'm wanting to get rid of it. This was not a cheap hood, I paid alot extra for it, because I wanted it to fit and be of the best quialty, I'm a firm believer you get what you pay for, so that's why I bought the best hood out there, and the best paint. I was going to ask $575 for the hood. What do you all think is that a fair price? For pictures go to
