Gears are always a good way to go to make your car quicker without the dealership knowing. I don't know if you have a 5 speed or and AOD. If you don't plan on going with nitrous or S/C, 4.10s would be good. With the super tall 5th gear in the new GT's, it won't hurt your mileage that bad - maybe 2 or 3 mpg at most.
On the freeway with my 5 speed and the stock 3.27's, the tach only showed a little over 3000rpms at an indicated speed of over 130 mph in 5th (stock speedo reads a few mph high at high speeds).
As for the intake silencer, MM&FF's dyno testing indicated that you lose a couple horsepower on a stock motor if you remove it.
