2000 Cobras
 

Anyone have any info when the new Cobras will be available? Seems to be the best kept seceret in the world.

When I inquired about them at the dealership, I was told to expect them in April....

Maybe it's best that they don't come out. The 99 Cobra has some serious issues. The Ford fix only addresses part of the problem. I hear or have read that the pistons are a serious weak link in the engine. Also, there have been problems regarding the independent rear suspension. Until these are addressed by Ford, I would not buy a 2000 Cobra. For the specifics, you need to dig through some issues of MM&FF but I remember not liking what I read.

I was all set to order a 2000 Cobra, until the dealer told me that they were delaying production until April 20, and I wouldn't receive it until the END of June.

I decided to go with a special edition 2000 GT (Manufature Number 54X)
