2005 Mustangs
I read where they said that the new Mustang will be out April 17. Anyone else hear that?

Unless all my sources are dicked, not likely. We are on a list to get one, so I have had conversations with our dealer AND Ford. I am being told that allocations will go out in June. This is when the dealers are told how many they will get and can place their orders. The cars are supposed to hit the showrooms in Sept/Oct.
We are getting the car to raffle as a fundraiser.

I agree, you aren't going to see a new 2005 until the summer is over(at best Sept.).

Quite frankly, I'm glad that they won't be out til after the summer. If they were to come out now, I'd be screwed, I'd get one before I could pay for it knowing me .
but after the summer, I can get one

There is a chance that what you read was that they will start production of the new mustang April 17th, but I don't know. I do know they are no longer using the old mustang assembly plant after this month, I think they already quit builting the 04 models.
Something I'm curious about.. I thought all the new GTs were going to have the 3 valve engines that put out 300hp, then I read somewhere that the old 4.6(265hp) was going to be used with the 3 valve being an option. Can't remember where I saw that. |
