I remember that Mustang and fast Ford installed the bullit intake and I don't remember anything about changing the alternator, I might be wrong in this one but I will look for the magazine this weekend.

Have you installed one yet?...didn't think so. You do need a new alternator unless you feel like grinding the crap out of the stock one and that isn't even a guarenteed thing. How do I know this because I've done the install it's on my car and did the work myself.
You will not get the upper and lower intake and all the associated parts for under $400 I don't care who you are I've seen the cost from Ford on all the parts. The upper and lower alone are a hair over $400 at cost so even if you were a dealer you couldn't get better than that.
