![]() wasup, wondering how much quicker u guys think my stang would be w/ new gears. I have to date ran a 14.2@102mph. mods: off road h, pulleys, mufflers, filter, clutch, alum. driveshaft.

![]() If you are asking about 3.55 gears, don't waste your time. 4.10's should put you in the mis 13's if you can drive well enough. If you have an auto, then consider 4.30's.

![]() What year is your car? If it's a '96-'98 then 3.73s could be ok because they don't have as high of a powerband as the '99+. If it's a '99+, then it's like Blake said, 4.10s for a manual or 4.30s for an auto (some people are happy with 3.90s but I like my 4.10s).
But one thing is for sure - 3.55s are a waste of time.

![]() ya my votes for 4.10's for a GT. now i dunno bout the 99 an up years but in my 96 cobra i had to reburn a chip after i put my 4.30 in cuz it ran like dump otherwise. Anybody have a comment on this?
