Default 3.73's or 4.10 for a Supercharger?

hi there , im planning on gettin some gears thrown in my car , i have an auto 99gt , i was really wanting the 4.10s ...but ive heard lots of people say stick with 3.73's for an auto that will be supercharged , or should i just get 4.10's and in the future swap to 3.73's?

In my opinion, 3.73's are just fine under a supercharged setup. I personally wouldnt use 4.10's unless the only thing I planned to do was go to gas station, to the track, to the gas station, maybe one more stop at the gas station, and then home (I dont have a trailer). Most enthusiasts would agree that 4.10's are a track gear. But hey, it's your money and gas prices aint going down.

Do you have any idea how much work is involved with changing rear end gears? Unless you got the tools and knowledge, your gonna pay someone about 4-500$. Dont forget having to get your speedo recalibrated also.

I would recommend 3.73s for your setup if its going to see lots of street time....

Would you trust a guy with a 98 GT with a 12 second time slip on street tires?
