![]() As I read the rules for Trophy stock only the factory Ford carbureted intakes are legal for competition. Is this true? Where the rules at one time any dual-plane intake? I don't see how a carbureted car with a factory intake could run mid-12s.
Are there any competitive carbureted cars now? Fletch '82 Coupe http://www.jason.fletcher.net/ |

![]() The rule changes in 5.0 Tire tracks say "Edelbrock Performer RPM and Weiand Stealth. 1" carb spacer permitted for OEM manifolds, prohibited on aftermarket intakes". So I assume that these are the only aftermarket intakes aloud. Check with George just to make sure. Mike Rotella ran a carburator in Gainesville and won the event, so I'm thinking with the right set-up you can do alright.
