4.6 SOHC vs 4.6 DOHC bolt pattern ?

Will a t-5 hook up to a cobra motor.
I am working on a cobra motor swap, and got a t-5 for almost free w/ 200 miles on it. I do not care if the t-5 will last forever, just long enough untill I can get a 45 or 56 tranny.

The input shaft is different it won't work.

Pretty sure the bellhousing will bolt up but I don't know the specifics I've heard it mentioned a few times on some of the other boards. Input shaft I believe it too short. Personally I can't imagine why you would put such a garbage tranny as a T-5 behind the motor. I've used both for years and the T-5 is much worse.

yes the t-5 is worse, but when I got a brand new (less than 500 miles on it) t-5 for $200 I can not complain.

It is just for the time being untill I can get a better one.
