Default 99-01 Gt Throttle Body 70mm Stock?

IS THE STOCK THROTTLE BODY ON A 99-01 GT A 70MM? IF SO THEN WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE OF GOING WITH AN AFTERMARKET THROTTLE BODY OF THE SAME SIZE? LIKE I KNOW MAC HAS A 70MM... AND I KNOW OF ANOTHER COMPANY THAT HAS AN 80MM THROTTLE BODY FOR THE 99-01 GT'S. BUT WHAT'S THE PLUS WITH GOING WITH THE SAME SIZE?

I don't think the stockers are 70mm...
Maybe 60 or 65...

Stock TB is 65mm..Going to a 70 will give you a few ponies.More if your car is Blown.

Cool throttle body info

hey man, check out the may issue of muscle mustangs and fast fords. Go to the article titled "got torque". Read the article and you might learn a little as well as get the answer to your question. Later!
