If he is doing a 6-8 swap with a '94, that would be a question for the Windsor power board. The 5.0 (stock for that year) is in the Windsor family.
Having said that, it is a straightforward drop. You will need to change the clutch cable (on a stick) motor mounts, and I think computer. A complete 8 and radiator should not have any issues.
Until you really get on it. The rear and trans are different in a 6. You would want to get a heavy duty t-5 (or better) and a locking 8.8.
I think that's it. Might acutally be easier to find a nice GT to begin with, unless his 6 is a special car to him.
