96-98 stangs, is it possible to get just the fog lights on without the main headlight
 

Just wondering cause we cant turn on just the fog lights without having to turn on the main headlights like through a different relay or something??? thanks

actually i think you cant turn them on with just the parking lights. i believe they work independent of the main lights. and yes, to answer your question they can be operated independent of anything. there is a simple how to over at mustangworld, here is the link: http://www.mustangworld.com/ourpics/fcar/fog2.htm. there are a few ways to do this, but this is the way they recommend and the way that i used. it works great and is easy.

hehe i wouldnt pay the $15.95 for it because it took me less than an hour to do myself and works fine... maybe if you have a 'vert and dont wanna tap that power line... but even still you could rerun cable from the fuse box... not that difficult. i didnt know that switch existed though, thats cool.
