96 Cobra Clutch Problem

In my 96 Cobra there is something strange with my clutch. A lot of the time, but not all, the clutch makes a loud clicking sound as I push it in. Generally it only clicks when I first start the car, but once I start driving it stops. Could someone please tell me if there is something wrong with my cobra. Thanks.

my 95 did that and i think its a sound that your clutch quadrant makes when rotating. your car has a self adjusting clutch. this is what i would do: lift up on the clutch pedal firmly but don't manhandle it either. then press down on the pedal and it should click if your clutch needed an adjustment (thats what this procedure is). if not then i wouldn't worry about it. like i said my 95 did that for a long time and it never bothered me or gave me any trouble.
