ya but even without gears it shouldnt be that much of a blowout. something is not right. an it already has exhaust.

Hows your posi? Are you pulling 2 wheel burnouts or one stripers? If your posi is out your friend will probably pull a good carlength on the launch and gain a little more during the run. Im telling you those Cobras desperately NEED gears. Check your rear end and swap those gears.
