Post converters

Looking to swap in 5.0 and am wondering if 3.8 CFI AOD converter can be used with 86, 5.0 HO??

go to www.tccoa.com, check their technical articles, transmissions, I believe it's the first one in the list. Something like
"trans 101". written by a gen Ford auto trans engineer. Long article, but talks in detail about converters in there somewhere. discusses torque efficiency, stall, durability, etc. Everything you want to know.
