i have installed a 02 Bullitt engine into my 98GT. is superchips the only place i can go to get a new chip or is there someplace else? also, do i really need a chip to enjoy the power of the new motor? thanks.

First question is why your post is here and not in Mod Madness...

Another question is why are you putting a chip on an otherwise stock bullit motor? (I'm assuming its stock)
There are other mods that will give you much more of a bang for your buck.

What mods do you have?

And get your butt over to Mod Madness....

my fault...

....sorry about that.

are you saying that i don't need a chip? yes, the bullitt engine is stock except for the ford shorty headers. i had a serious low end knock in my stock GT engine and had already saved up for heads and an intake. i didn't have time to rebuild it from ground up and found a bullitt engine for sale. what do you think about the hypertech power programmer iii?

mods kept:

american thunder flowmaster - 2.5"
bbk h-pipe with hi-flow cats - 2.5"
3.73 rear end
pro-M 75mm MAF
ford 150 lph fuel pump

mods lost/replaced with:

ford 70mm throttle body - stock (twin 57mm)
steeda underdrive pulleys - stock
strut tower brace - won't fit
stant 180 thermostat - stock
