any drag launching advise?
 

I have been to the track resently and I have seen that my launch sucks. I have tried reving it up then dropping the clutch. I have tried easing out the clutch until it barely touches the flywell and reving it up and launching. I either end up in massive wheelspin or a small bog followed by a launch at idle. If you have any advise that can help me out in turning up better slips please feel free to respond, thank you.

By the way i have a 01' Gt with a K & n aircharger with some flowmasters and an off-road Mac X-pipe.

you should probably try holding the revs at around 1800 to 2500 (depends on your engine capability) and then just take your forr off the clutch completely... and then you have to control the tire spin with your gas pedal. minimize the spin but dont let yourself bog down. If you do it right, you should have a little spin right off the light and then hook shortly after. Youll know the launch was good when you feel it in the butt :cool:
