anyone have a low oil press prob in the cold???

my 2k oil press gauge jump's from good to 0, when it's real cold outside, no problem in the summer or anything, just around the freezing mark, anyone else have this problem, is it the thin oil?, thank's

What weight of oil are you using? Usually it's the other way around in the winter. The cold makes the oil a little thicker, not flowing quite as easily, and the oil pressure would be up a bit more than during the warmer parts of the year. Just like after the oil heats up it's thinner and flows better. It almost sounds like your oil pressure sender is bad or something. You might replace it and see what it does.
