Default Back from the Dyno - Need Advice.

Just back from the dyno. My numbers are 313 rwhp and 370 rwtq. The car was running very rich I was told and that the following things would clean this up and give me much more hp (up to 385). Adding an Anderson Power Pipe, a Lighting MAS and swapping the chip out to a Diablo Chip (I currently have a SuperChip, problem is the local shop doesn't tune SuperChips and I don't want to drive 5 hours round trip to Orlando where I had it originally installed, so I'm willing to swap chips for the convenience of local future upgrades).

Achieving the full potential of your combo is the name of the game. The cost of the parts you mentioned isnt bad for that much of an HP gain.

I say go for it. You could get the Anderson power pipe and lightning Mass air flow sensor pretty cheap off of e-bay.

How much boost are you running BTW.

Later,

Its ALL in the tune my friend...

We have a (somewhat) similiar setup, and I'm putting out over 380 at the wheels (@8lbs boost too...), although your torque numbers (@ 370) compared to your RWHP on a blown setup are actually pretty good....

Are you still running the stock MAF?...
(I don't know how you could be... What size injectors?)

I highly recommend a custom programmed Pro-M MAF for your application... it should free up some horsepower, and depending on your injector size, may help with your fuel curve...

The Anderson Power pipe should help a bit... here is a link:
http://www.andersonfordmotorsport.co...es_frames.html

Considering how the tune is SO important...
It might be worth the money and the drive to go somewhere to get a custom dyno-tune done.....

I have found that a custom dyno-tuned AutoLogic chip seems to be the way to go, although I have seen no real issues with the Diablos either...

Default Thanks!

Thanks for the input Hammer. I have 30 pound injectors. I plan on having the customer tune once the new chip goes in, I just have to schedule "the tuner" when he is in town. I guess the brains behind the tune doesn't reside in little old Jacksonville, so I've gotta wait until he shows up, which should be by the end of the month. Another stupid question, what's the MAF (I know what the MAS is, but MAF?). Thanks!

Default Speed Craft

Went to Speed Craft on Blanding, however I went through Mustang Motor Works (I think you recommended them to me in a previous post). Go direct through Speed Craft if you have your car done, no point paying a middleman. The guys at MMW seemed like good guys and I'm going to use their supercharger tuning guy for my car.
