Bad rumor on 2000 Cobra

http://216.59.112.100/interactive/msgboard/frown.gifIt's been going around the back alleys of several dealerships that there will be NO 2000 Cobra. Ugh... I will try to get an official word from a reliable source, but I thought you guys would be interested...

Yep, It's true! http://216.59.112.100/interactive/msgboard/frown.gif I am selling my 96 to buy one. I believe the 2001 will be coming out and they may just skip this year. That is pathetic for Ford, simply pathetic!

I wonder how many 1999 Cobra owners wish they hadn't bought theirs. Ford should offer these people special deals on the 2001. If Ford wants to ensure brand loyalty, they better come out with a bullet proof, screamer of a car. The following things better be addressed: the intake manifold, pistons, exhaust system, and CV joints (half shafts) which break. I also wonder how Ford dealers feel about the Cobras they still have. They didn't want to deal even after the problems were public.
