Default bassani mid-lengths

hey, i'm back..been away awhile. has anyone out there ever done Bassani "optimum length" header install on a SN-95? i'm gearing up to do the install, but would like to get some heads-ups from anyone w/ the knowledge, ya know? let me know

They're a good header. Plan on dropping the k-member to install them and install some Stage 8 bolts while you're at it. Also, don't plan on doing a clutch swap after the install without removing the passenger side header....the damn collectors are in just the right spot to not let the bellhousing off the dowels.

Ditto....Jeff's right. They suck for clearance, but work great.

thanks for the tips...will they mate up to a bassani cat-x? it was a direct replacement for the factory h-pipe. i was thinking about swapping the clutch to a centerforce dual friction since stock clutch has 80k on it. so do you recommend doing the clutch swap first? thanks for any advice you can give.

Yeah do the clutch first, and no the catted x will not bolt up. It will require it's on mid section.
