Bassoni weird noise !
 

Ever since the Bassani Hi flow cat was installed on my GT AODE, I defiantly got some more spunk. However, between 1,500 and 2,000 RPM, and going up a long hill< i hear this gurgling noise (i.e. like water running down a pipe). What is up with that ? My mechanic says that is not pinging, but some weird harmonic noise. It is not a cool sound ! Anyone had the same problem ? Help !!!

I think that your mechanic is right. I heard the sound more at the lower RPMs after I had mine. I like the sound and it definitely takes some time getting used to. Wait and see if anyone else has anything to add.

I would'nt worry about it, I have a similar sound after my bassani install kind of a raining sound at low to mid rpms. I believe it's the fact that the basani's have bigger pipes and may echo the air pump at lower rpms.
