				 | Lots of people seem to like Red Line. I'm not an expert on this, so any other comments? ------------------ '97 Cobra, K&N, Flowmaster, subframes, 4.10 gears, Steeda Tri-Ax shifter, Steeda G-Trac 3, Cobra R wheels w/ Goodyear F1s My Ride |

				 | I have experimented with several. The stock Mercon V, Valvolene Synthetic Mercon V, GM ATF, and finally GM Synchromesh. Without question, GM Synchromesh was the best shifting fluid. Mercon V was 2nd. And GM ATF 3rd. The worst one was Valvolene. Too slippery for the T-45. Watch out for synthetics in your trany for this reason. | GM Synchromesh without question. Yeah, it's $8.00 a quart, but it's worth it. I used it in my '88 LX 5.0 for 136,000 miles, and I've got it in my T-45 in the Cobra now. The part # is 12345349, and you can get it from any GM car dealer. ------------------ '96 Cobra - K&N, Pro-M 77, Pro 5.0 shifter, 3:73s, Cobra "R"s, Steeda control arms, pulleys, springs and caster/camber plates. |
