Default Boring Block

What is the formula to find out how many cubic inches your engine is after it has been bored?

Since you are figuring volume of a cylinder, and then combining those into one number use the following

Bore x Bore x Stroke x .7854 x # Cylinders=Cu. In.

My old truck with a 350 Chevy worked like this

4.00 x 4.00 x 3.48 x .7854 x 8 = 349.8464 = 350 Cu. In.

--or--

You can use the normal Geometry formula for a Cyliner.

Length x (Radius x Radius) x Pi (3.14159) x # Cylinders = Cu. In.

Where:

Length = Stroke in In.
Radius = 1/2 of the Bore in In.

3.48 x (2 * 2) x 3.14159 x 8 = 349.8464 = 350 Cu. In.

Nah...don't be sad. I usually root for Ga, as long as they aren't playing tech
