Bosch Platinum +4

Just wandering if anyone has had any experience with the Bosch Platinum +4 in a 4.6L mustang. I have a '96 GT and I wanted to try the +4. One person I spoke with said that they would work well in my car and another guy said that he would not put Bosch in a Ford because they were not made for domestic cars. It seems to me that they should be OK. Bosch made them for my engine and they have a 5 year 50,000 mile warranty. Anyway, just wanted to know if anyone had any insight for me. Thanks in advance!!

While my personal opinion is that copper core wires edge the platinums a bit in performance, you can't beat the longevity of many of the platinum plugs...(Bosch is one of them)

If you don't feel like changing your plugs out at relatively shorter intervals, the +4s may be a good purchase for you...

I ran Bosch Platinums (regular kind) in my '88 5.0 LX for eight years and 136,000 miles. I loved 'em. I run them in my Cobra now. Personally, I think all those +4, Split Fires, etc. are gimmicks. I change my plugs every 10K miles anyway, whether they need to come out or not. On the other hand, I know people who run plain 'ole Autolite coppers, and they love 'em. Kinda personal preference, I guess.
