Default Brake ?

Got a buddy with an 03 Gt. He wants to start upgrading the brakes soon but at the same time doesnt want to spend alot of money on a Baer kit or anyhting like that. He just wants some better braking. What do you guys recommend for these cars. I was thinking some PBR calipers ( if it doesnt already have them, im a Mod car idiot ) and some cross drilled Rotors. Oh it has 18 inch wheels so Larger isnt out of the ? but just dont see a need to spend 2 grand on a brake kit for a street car right now. Now when the blower goes on as soon as the warranty goes out he may want better brakes then to... but we'll just wait.

He can always scavange a brake system off a Cobra, Bullit, or Mach 1. They got pretty darn good braking ability.

I'd recommend just getting a 13" front Cobra/Bullitt/Mach 1 kit like Mercury mentioned. They have 'em cheap here:
