Question Intake Swap Results-SVO on 98 GT

I'm really wondering if it would be a waste of time to install my Ford Racing high flow intake onto my stock headed 98 GT. I also have Ford Racing heads and SHM cams but I want to just do as much work myself. I'm sure I can do the intake myself.

I've heard that changing the intake can get me more power and I heard it won't. I'm running N/A.

Those stock heads are dogs at high RPMS, the FRPP intake shines at high rpms, sounds like a losing combo to me, If it was me, I would wait until the FRPP heads are on & with that intake you will be rockin!

If you don't feel comfortable messing with the heads and cams, have a pro put them on for you. Then just put the intake on yourself... The intake is pretty much a waste without the heads...

BTW: You should see some nice gains with the FRPP setup... Especially with the new cams...

Cool

That FRPP induction set-up should really sing.

I'd go with Hammer on this one. Pay the cash for a pro install and slap the intake on yourself.
